Entrepreneur

To continue with their ‘What is a successful entrepreneur’ students need to research the following entrepreneurs and produce a profile of each one:
  • Richard Branson
  • Steve Jobs
  • James Dyson
  • Levi Roots
  • John Edson

Task 1:
For each entrepreneur, you need to produce a profile and need to research and include the following information:

  1. Why they are considered to be an entrepreneur - what have they succeed in/done.
  2. What is their educational background (A levels, degree etc)
  3. What was their early family life/upbring like.
  4. Where did they get the finance from for their business.
  5. What useful characteristics do they have to help them succeed.
  6. Have they had to deal with any setbacks in life, within business or their personal life.
  7. Evaluate what you think is the most important aspect that makes them the successful enterprise that they are.


Task 2:
Create a fictional profile of your idea of the perfect entrepreneur.

Make sure that you follow the requirements above in this also.

  • Cash-flow revenues
  • Product portfolio
  • Staffing
  • Location or current markets 
  • Stakeholder most affected by any chances
  • Organisational structure
  • The role of the EU and differing laws
You should be including secondary researched data within your proposals.
